I was reflecting over the weekend about a big turning point in my journey out of bingeing & dieting.
One thing that stands out was learning how to BE with an emotion instead of turning to food.
I vividly remember the first time I sat in utter discomfort of anxiety and heartache without eating over it…and realizing it didn’t swallow me whole.
(Because for so long, I was terrified of feeling an emotion!)
Learning the art of coping with life instead of eating was (and still is!) a skill & habit I practice.
So if you do struggle with emotional eating (and don’t we all in some form? We’re only human after all!), I want you to remember these 3 things:
