There’s an often taboo subject on this path of being “normal” around food: that you can’t “do” Intuitive Eating AND still care about weight.

People are often afraid to talk about it (and I was for awhile, too!). So I wanted to do this post and share my thoughts on weight loss 🙂

When I first began my business, I was tempted to “sell” weight loss.

Because that was what so many women seemingly wanted. But I held fast to my convictions and didn’t use this in my marketing. (In fact, it’s hard to promise weight loss…there are 1,000 contributing factors to losing weight!).

So I didn’t talk about weight loss at all. 

Then I realized something interesting: as people began to find freedom around food, let go of dieting/binging and feel more “normal”, they STILL wanted to discuss weight.

So over the years, I have talked more about weight (see these posts here, here and here!)

But I’ve never done a podcast like this and truthfully, it was a little bit scary.

I talk about one of my biggest fears coming true, why you are allowed to care about weight loss, and how to approach it in a different way.

So wherever you are on this path…

…If you feel more balanced in your eating and still want to lose weight

…If you are struggling to let go of the diet/binge cycle but still can’t give up the idea of your body losing weight
